Evaluation Specialist | Director of Physical Literacy

 

Krystin is an Evaluation Specialist and the Director of Physical Literacy at the Michigan Fitness Foundation. Concurrently, she is an Assistant Professor for Michigan State University’s graduate degree in Program Evaluation. Prior, she served as a Lecturer and the Coordinator of Online Learning for the University of Melbourne’s Centre for Program Evaluation where she also served as Secretary for the Australian Evaluation Association’s Learning and Professional Practice committee.

Krystin’s experience in evaluation began in 2003 with a focus was on multi-year, multi-site school-based health program, policy, and curriculum evaluations. She has since conducted evaluations in an array of settings including international development and higher education. She has engaged in evaluation capacity building initiatives and organizational development projects. Her work has involved client organizations including the U.S. and Swiss National Science Foundations, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the European Commission’s Education and Culture Directorate General, Heifer Project International, and an array of local community organizations. Krystin has a PhD in Interdisciplinary Evaluation from Western Michigan University.

Krystin enjoys outdoor activities that provide sun on her face and wind in her hair and spends time with her husband enjoying their current array of rescue animals on their hobby farm.
