In 2016, 72 percent of Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) recipients surveyed recalled seeing They Learn From Watching You messages. That equates to 851,053 SNAP-eligible residents statewide, which is significantly higher than recall reported in 2012–2014.

Survey data indicates that people are moving through the stages of change for fruit and vegetable consumption. In 2016, most people (68 percent) were thinking about increasing their fruit and vegetable consumption within the next month. Future campaign messages will encourage further progress — moving from the “preparation” stage to the “action” stage.
